Since launching our Gold & Silver stove servicing options, we’ve found that every stove is a little different. They come in all shapes, sizes, and levels of complexity – especially with newer, eco-design ready models.

That’s why Stan The Sweep only uses HETAS-trained stove technicians. We have the knowledge and experience to keep your stove running efficiently, safely, and cleanly.

We take a practical, honest approach – assessing the condition of your stove and only doing work that genuinely improves its performance and safety. No upselling. Just good old-fashioned professional service.

Please note: enamelled stoves will be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth only – no abrasive treatments used

🔧 Silver Servicing

What's included:

  • Full internal inspection and removal of the baffle plate, firebricks, grate, and ash pan
  • Vacuuming and deep cleaning of internal surfaces and all parts
  • Grate cleaning, part checks, and replacements if needed
  • Firebrick inspection and advice on any required replacements
  • Re-fitting of cleaned or replaced components
  • Glass cleaning and rope seal checks
  • Door rope check
  • Lubrication of internal screws

✨ Gold Servicing

What's included:

  • EVERYTHING FROM THE SILVER SERVICING, PLUS.:
  • Door rope seal replacement – we’ll replace your existing seal with a new one to ensure your stove remains airtight and efficient
  • Light oiling of the door catch mechanism and hinge pins to keep everything smooth, silent, and in full working order
  • Exterior refresh – we’ll give your stove a smart new look with aerosol paint or colloidal black cleaner, restoring its surface and shine
